What thoughts do you need to reclaim? What are you struggling with today? Write these scriptures on your mirror and then open your mouth and speak these scriptures over yourself.

 

Worry

Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself. Matthew 6:34

 

But you Father are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. Psalm 3:3

 

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Philippians 4:6

 

Then Jesus said his disciples: Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat: or about your body, what you will wear.  Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes. Luke 12:22

 

 Cast all of your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

 

Doubt

Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. Ephesians 6:17

 

We can demolish every deceptive fantasy that opposes God and break through every arrogant attitude that is raised up in defiance of the true knowledge of God. We capture, like prisoners of war, every thought and insist on bowing in obedience to the anointed One. 2 Corinthians 10:5

 

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

 

Trust the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-7

 

Fear 

I leave the gift of peace with you-my peace.  Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts-instead be courageous. John 14:27

 

“Why are you gripped with fear? Where is your faith?” Then he stood up and rebuked the storm and said, “Be still!” And instantly it became perfectly calm. Matthew 8:26

 

For God will never give you the spirit of fear, but the Holy Spirit who gives you mighty power, love and self control. 2 Timothy 1:7

 

Fear and intimidation is a trap that holds you back, But when you place your confidence in the Lord, you will be seated in the high place. Proverbs 29:25

 

Healing

 

But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness, the punishment for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

 

Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then as you unwrap my words they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being. Proverbs 4:20

 

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will be bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Proverbs 3:8

 

Lonely

And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age. Matthew 28:20

 

He will never leave; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:8

 

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

 

Defeated by Sin

But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace.  Ephesians 2: 4-5

 

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

 

Surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and will turn and run away from you. James 4:7

 

I have stored up your word in my heart, that I may not sin against you. Psalm 119:11

 

For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith. 1 John 5:4

 

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away: behold the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17

 

Sad

He will wipe every tear from their eyes and eliminate death entirely. No one will mourn or weep any longer. The pain of wounds will no longer exist, for the old order has ceased. Revelation 21:4

 

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4

 

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5

 

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

 

Hopeless

Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

 

Your spiritual roots go deeply into his life as you are continually infused with strength encouraged in every way. For you are established in the faith you have absorbed and enriched by your devotion to him! Colossians 2:7

Yes, my soul finds rest in God; my hope comes from him. Psalm 62:5

 

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

 

May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you abound in hope. Romans 15:13

 

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1

 

Exhausted

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8

 

Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis. Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I am gentle, humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.  Matthew 11:28

 

Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Psalm 62:1

 

I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint. Jeremiah 31:25

 

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Isaiah 40:29

 

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26

 

When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, you sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:24

 

Disappointed

Even in times of trouble we have joyful confidence knowing that our pressures will develop in us patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope. And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy because we now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us. Romans 5:3-5

 

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

 

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. Psalm 42:11

 

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19

 

Waiting

I pray with great faith for you, because I am fully convinced that the One who began this glorious work in you will faithfully continue the process of maturing you and will put his finishing touches to it until the unveiling of our Lord Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6

 

Wait for the Lord, be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14

 

Wait for the Lord and keep his way, and he will exalt you to inherit the land; you will look on when the wicked are cut off. Psalm 37:34

 

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices. Psalm 37:7

 

Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10

 

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I hope. Psalm 130:5
